Instagram Giveaway Terms and Conditions
These terms apply to the Fur & Forever Instagram giveaway with @sirarthurmeows, closing on Monday 2 November 2026 at 10am GMT.
- Prize: one piece of sterling silver jewellery of the winner’s choice, with a retail price of up to £275 including selected options. UK postage is included separately.
- Eligibility: UK residents aged 18 or over. One entry per person. No purchase necessary.
- Entry: follow @furandforever and @sirarthurmeows and tag one friend in a comment on the original giveaway post before the closing time. Sharing the post is optional and does not provide an extra entry or improve your chances of winning.
- Draw: Monday 2 November 2026. We will contact the selected entrant and publish a draw update by 7pm GMT. The selected entrant has 14 days to respond.
1. The promoter
The promoter is South Downs Designs Limited, trading as Fur & Forever, of 15 West Street, Brighton, BN1 2RL (“we”, “us” or “the Promoter”). Contact us at hello@furandforever.com.
The giveaway is promoted in collaboration with Tara, who runs the Instagram account @sirarthurmeows. Fur & Forever is responsible for administering the draw and providing the prize.
2. Who can enter
Entrants must be aged 18 or over and resident in the United Kingdom when they enter. The United Kingdom includes England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland; it does not include the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man.
Employees and directors of the Promoter, the collaborating influencer, anyone directly involved in organising the giveaway, and their immediate families or members of their households are excluded.
An Instagram account and internet access are required. Entry is free and no purchase or payment is necessary. Making a purchase does not improve anyone’s chances of winning.
3. Opening and closing times
Entries open when the original Instagram giveaway post shared by @furandforever and @sirarthurmeows linking to these terms is first published. Entries close at 10am GMT on Monday 2 November 2026.
Both entry steps must be completed before the closing time. Entries outside the promotion period will not be included.
4. How to enter
During the promotion period, complete all of the following:
- Follow @furandforever and @sirarthurmeows on Instagram.
- Tag one friend in a comment on the original giveaway post.
Sharing the giveaway post to your Instagram Story is welcome but entirely optional. Sharing does not provide an extra entry or improve your chances of winning. No screenshot or direct message is required to enter.
You do not need to make a private account public. Entrants must be following both accounts at the closing time.
There is a maximum of one entry per person, regardless of how many comments, tags, shares or Instagram accounts they use. Additional activity does not provide extra entries. Tagged friends are not automatically entered.
Tag friends in comments only; do not identify anyone as appearing in a photograph if they are not pictured. Automated entries, impersonation and attempts to obtain more than one entry per person are not permitted.
5. The prize
One winner will receive one piece of sterling silver jewellery of their choice from the Fur & Forever range offered at furandforever.com when entries close, with a total retail price of no more than £275. A pair of cufflinks counts as one prize item.
The £275 limit includes the selected jewellery and any chosen options, such as engraving where available. If the winner chooses a necklace, a standard sterling silver chain is included; the combined retail price of the pendant, chain and selected options must fit within the £275 limit.
The prize also includes a UK inclusions pack and prepaid return postage where needed, a ring sizer if required, and delivery of the finished jewellery to one UK address. These postage and pack costs are covered by us separately from the £275 jewellery limit. No payment is required to claim or receive the prize.
Gold jewellery, gift cards, multiple jewellery items and bespoke designs outside the advertised range are excluded. There is no cash alternative, credit or payment for any unused portion of the £275 limit. The prize cannot be used as part-payment towards a more expensive item.
If the chosen design uses fur, hair or ashes, the winner must provide suitable inclusions that they own or have permission to use. We will provide instructions and help with any required sizing or design choices. All unused inclusions will be returned with the finished jewellery.
Photographs used to promote the giveaway are examples. The winner can choose any eligible design within the limit, and the appearance of personalised jewellery will vary according to the inclusions supplied.
If circumstances beyond our reasonable control prevent us from supplying the advertised prize, we will agree a suitable alternative of equal or greater value with the winner.
6. Selecting and contacting the winner
We will select one entrant from all valid entries on Monday 2 November 2026, after entries close and before 7pm GMT, using a computer process that produces verifiably random results. Each valid entry will have an equal chance of selection.
We will contact the selected entrant by Instagram direct message from @furandforever by 7pm GMT that day. Selection is subject to checking eligibility and compliance with these terms. We may request reasonable evidence of age, UK residence and completion of the entry steps.
The selected entrant must respond within 14 days of our first notification. We will make reasonable attempts to contact them, including at least one reminder. If they do not respond within that period, decline the prize or do not meet the stated eligibility and entry conditions, we may draw a replacement from the remaining valid entries using the same method. A replacement entrant will also have 14 days from notification to respond.
We will never request payment, bank details or card details to release this prize. Any uncertainty about a message can be checked by emailing hello@furandforever.com.
7. Receiving the prize
After the winner accepts the prize, we will arrange any inclusions pack and confirm the chosen design, options and sizing.
The prize will be delivered within 35 calendar days after we receive the winner’s complete design and sizing details and, where required, suitable inclusions. This allows for making the jewellery and UK delivery. Because the prize is personalised, delivery may take place more than 30 days after the closing date.
If the winner needs additional time to provide their details or inclusions, we will agree a revised delivery date with them. No Christmas delivery guarantee forms part of this giveaway.
8. Announcing the result and publicity
At 7pm GMT on Monday 2 November 2026, we will publish an Instagram update confirming that the draw has taken place and the selected entrant has been contacted. We will confirm that the prize has been awarded after the winner has accepted and passed the eligibility checks. We will also update the original giveaway caption so that the result remains accessible.
To demonstrate that a valid award took place, the winner’s surname and county will be available on request by emailing hello@furandforever.com within three months after the closing date. Entrants may contact us at any time before disclosure to object or ask us to reduce the information disclosed. We will respect those requests, although we may still need to provide relevant details to the Advertising Standards Authority if challenged.
We will seek separate permission before publicly identifying the winner by their Instagram username or using their photograph, personal story or testimonial. Additional publicity is optional and is not a condition of receiving the prize.
9. Personal information
South Downs Designs Limited is the controller of the personal information we use to administer this giveaway. We will process Instagram usernames, entry comments and relevant correspondence to record and validate entries, conduct the draw and contact the selected entrant. We will also collect the winner’s contact, eligibility and delivery details to provide the prize.
We rely on our legitimate interests in administering a fair promotion and preventing misuse, and on legal obligations where applicable. Information will only be shared as necessary with people or service providers helping us administer the giveaway or deliver the prize, or where required by law.
Giveaway administration records will normally be deleted within three months after the prize has been delivered. We may retain particular records for longer where reasonably necessary to resolve a complaint, deal with a legal claim or meet a legal obligation.

10. Fair administration
We may exclude entries that do not meet the eligibility or entry requirements, or where there is reasonable evidence of fraud, impersonation, automation or manipulation of the draw.
We will only amend, suspend or cancel the giveaway where unavoidable circumstances beyond our reasonable control make that necessary. Any action will be proportionate, communicated promptly and taken with fair treatment of entrants in mind.
The closing date will only change in exceptional circumstances where a change is necessary and either keeping the original date would be unfair to those who sought to participate under the original terms, or those entrants will not be disadvantaged by the change. We will not change the closing date merely because we would prefer more entries.
11. Instagram
This giveaway is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram. To the extent permitted by law, each entrant releases Instagram from liability arising from their participation in this giveaway. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
12. Applicable law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Entrants retain any mandatory protections available under the law of the UK nation where they live and may bring proceedings in their local courts.
