Our Story
At Fur and Forever, every piece we create begins with love.
We’re Jack and Mel — lifelong friends since our very first day at infant school, now a family of four living a busy, happy life with our Golden Retriever Monty, a mischievous cat, a flock of ducks, and even a few bees. We built Fur and Forever together with one clear purpose: to give people something truly beautiful and meaningful to hold onto when words and memories alone aren’t quite enough.
The idea came from our own search for high-quality memorial jewellery made with pet fur. We wanted something precious enough to reflect the love we felt, but everything we found fell short on quality and care. So, we decided to create it ourselves — pieces that were not only beautifully made, but finished to the highest standard and rooted in sustainability and compassion.
What we do
We handcraft meaningful memorial jewellery and keepsakes that hold a part of the ones you love most. Each piece is created slowly and carefully, with the intention of becoming a treasured heirloom rather than just an accessory.
Our collection includes rings, necklaces, pendants, bangles, earrings, cufflinks and keepsakes like keychains and coasters. We can include almost anything within them — most often pet fur, human hair, or cremation ashes, but we’ve also worked with sand, feathers, family tartans and even hospital bracelets. Every commission is unique, and we treat each one with the same level of respect and detail.
All our jewellery is made by hand from start to finish using recycled precious metals. Our silver is always solid 925, and our gold is hallmarked in London. We work with hand tools wherever possible, taking time with every stage, and we’ve built sustainability into every choice — from reclaimed materials to eco-friendly packaging, wildflower-seed packing slips, and ethical chocolate from Tony’s Chocolonely.

We’ve designed an unboxing experience that celebrates the love behind each order. Every piece is packaged with care, using recycled and reclaimed materials, and includes thoughtful touches to make the experience feel personal and comforting. For pieces that include personalisation, we add a customised jewellery cloth, so you can care for your keepsake for years to come.
